As a youngster in the early 70's, the Snake and the Mongoose Hot Wheels cars had a special place in my toy box.  I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it brought back memories and I learned plenty as well. 

By the way, the Mongoose drove a Plymouth Duster, not a Dodge Duster.
