Only 78 grand. Pocket Money. At that price I'll have 2. :P

Quote from: whatcar
FOR  The R8 is hard to fault, providing staggering performance and brilliant handling, as well as great refinement and everyday usability

AGAINST  The R-Tronic semi-automatic version is expensive, and jerky at low speeds

Yes, it's good value compared to a 911 or a Gallardo  ;D Looks pretty fast in the Nordschleife, too. And if Tiff likes it then it must be Good.

Clarkson and the boys love the R8 - and I do to. It's definitely supercar status for me. I can think of no better place to throw the extra $70K I always happen to have lying around the house any given day  :o

My local Audi dealer has that dark grey coloured one in their showroom now. I'll have to go to drool.

Right then, that certainly makes up my mind - as soon as I have $135K (plus applicable taxes) of discretionary income, I'm up for it.
