I am curious as to uses the Cummins diesel engine in their p/u's beside the Chrysler Corporation as I don't know anybody else who does. GM has their own brand and so does Ford as well as International in their much smaller equipment. In the large class 8 products which are tractor trailors thats different again as you can order what you want with them besides the Cummins drivetrain. Detroit Diesel and or Catapillar engines are available there in that class as well. For the price in them I would take the Detroit Diesel engines myself for the price involved. They are much cheaper years later to do a inframe changeout on then the other 2 brands are yet with normal maintenance they last just as long.
