This is a great looking car, love the exterior and the interior, but that wood on the interior needs to go.

Allure/LaCrosse will be the only way to get the most modern GM mid-sizer here for the next while it seems.

And they are not that great according to consumer reports. Boy those GM's have dated quickly.

The Buick Allure is a great car for what it is and well received by anyone who has bought or leased one as well. We have several of them in the wifes side of the family and everyone is very pleased with their vehicle.  :)

I really like the interior......how long has the Aura been around in Europe?

The Aura was never sold in Europe. The Aura is currently and loosely based on the last gen Vauxhall/Opel Vectra. The Aura is longer than the Vectra but the front and rear exterior is similar. GM also changed the interior unfortunatelyt to match the rest of GM's NA efforts (Vectra Interior was similar to the Astra).

Bob Lutz is reported to have said that the replacement Aura will use the same platform as the Insignia but the styling will be as usual "Suited to North American Tastes"............ So expect Shite!
