Winter Tires & Wheels for 2005 Matrix XR

I am ready to buy a set of winter tires and wheels for my 2005 Matrix XR which includes P215/50R17 Tires, 17" Alloy Wheels and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. TireTrends only shows 16" package available. My question to Morty is "Will the 16" package compatible with the Matrix XR which has the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Thanks!

Toyota's TPM system is not the complex one found on the likes of the Murano. The Toyota system simply requires you to use the "reset" buttom after changing wheels. It does not hinder the type of winter tire you can use. That was the case on my '04 RAV and is the case on my '05 Highlander, both of which have the TPM system. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

We can put together a 17" package for you and also have the ability to install OE sensors in the wheels. Give us a call and we can go through some scenarios. Or PM me, whichever you prefer...
