Considering Toyo SNOWPROX S952 or Nokian WR.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.  First off...where do you live?  What province?  What type of road conditions are you likely to encounter?  Others will chime in shortly to offer their advice and opinions.

Comparing a full winter to an all-season/winter tire. The S950 will give you better snow/ice performance and the WR would give you better life and be a year round tire. Would recommend sticking with the H-rated or higher winter tire for the Legacy GT, which the 2 tires mentioned are.

Here is a link for a number of different options:

http://www.tiretrends.com/wheel2/iuc_pview/winter_pview3.php?tireSize=17&year=2005&model=3473&moreTires=on

All speed ratings are included in this listing, but recommend focusing on the H-Rated or better. Good options on the list are:

Bridgestone LM25
Toyo Snowprox S950
Dunlop Sport M3
Michelin PA2
Pirelli Winter 240
Yokohama AVS V901

Thanks Morty,

I think I will take your advice and go with the Toyo.
