I just recently SOLD my LEASED 2001 Acura Integra SE and made 500 bucks!. My wife is expecting soon, so the fun 2-door compact sports car had to go sooner than planned (still had 7 months left of the lease). I had already purchased another car - my 2000 Grand Cherokee, so the Integra just sat in the garage while I was making $375 monthly lease payments. I first tried to get out of the lease by advertising it as a "lease-takeover", but there were transfer and admin fees that would've cost me almost $1000.00 bucks, and the response was weak. I listed it again in an autotrading magazine and this time I just priced it at 500 bucks over my current pay-out with Honda Canada. To make a long story short, I had a quick response, he liked the car and bought it through the dealship the next day. Since I had already told the business manager I was selling the car a little over the pay-out amount, they kept my price on the bill-of-sale and cut me a cheque for $500! Sweeeeeeet!
