We all knew another update was up for 2025, and Car and Driver caught a proto undisguised. The dash goes beyond expectations, to say the least...

Ugh. At first impression, that's not great.

Have to agree, that looks pretty horrifically designed both inside and out.  These aren't exactly big sellers anyway are they?

I don't think so.

At least the centre screen isn't vertical like in the Explorer and Lightning.

Agree that it's not very attractive inside or out.
I always felt like GM owned this market anyway.... :-\

Q2 sales in the U.S. were about 22k Expeditions and 58k Yukons/Tahoes/Suburbans. So GM is certainly the leader but Ford has a reasonable slice of the pie.

It is in the current model and you can't reach it well from the driver's seat.

While the dash is ugly, the low cowl should at least provide a good out the front.

Looking at the old one, the new one could be an improvement – need to see it head on to be sure though.

Yeah, the Expedition is quite common around me, not as much as the GMs, but still a strong seller in this market at least.

Wow! More expeditions than expected considering it's playing against 3 flavors of GM.

Expedition Max is effectively the Suburban competitor, and the regular Expedition goes up against the Tahoe/Yukon.

Expedition Max is effectively the Suburban / Yukon XL competitor, and the regular Expedition goes up against the Tahoe/Yukon.

Friendly amendment  ;)
