Premium? Sure. Luxurious? Get in an Escalade, Navigator, Grand Wagoneer, or LX and tell me the Denali is luxurious. It's not even close.

I love the Denali "Luxury".  Upgraded environment but still feel like you can use it like the utility vehicle it is. The Caddy is too fancy to schmancy.

A friend of ours is a realtor and has 5 young kids.  She just took delivery of an XL Denali, trading in a previous generation Suburban Premier.  Nice rig but I don't even want to know the price tag.

Does not matter. Writing it off.

I like the Denali package.  Looks good and nicely equipped.  I see lots of them in my hood, probably the most plentiful of all the big utes. The new Slade and Navigator are too blingy for my liking and the LX has lost it's way imo, same for the new Sequoia.

I wonder what the 3.0 diesel is like to drive and if it is sufficient. Same torque figure as the 6.2 gas.

It doesn't quite work that way.  But you probably know that.

Have a relative in the states with a diesel suburban. He consistently gets around 30mpg with it on the highway and low 30’s in the city, far better than the Honda Pilot they had before. I had a chance to drive it in September and it’s a nice power train, plenty of low end torque. It would be my choice 100% if I were buying one of these giants.
