I'm a big TTA fan, to my eyes the black/gold special edition TTA is the best-looking 2nd-gen Firebird ever, but the true, genuine bandit has to be a '77-'78.

Actually wrote to the head office on that one. The official shots they had rights to were pretty bad (screen shots, really), so they used this one...

The original Bandit car was a 77 with the gold snowflakes. There was a Smokey & the Bandit 2, which used the '80 pictured with those 'turbo' wheels. There was even a S&B 3 that used an '82/3 Trans Am. As expected #2 and #3 were awful and totally bombed.
