Huh.....colour me surprised, the charging network is not at the point where one cannot get away from charging at home, weird.
Lighten up Francis.....

Hopefully the system will grow and improve rapidly in the coming years. In the meantime if I was to buy any type of electric vehicle it would be a plug-in hybrid with a honest 50+ km range
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

I'm surprised meth heads haven't stolen every charger cable. There must be copper in there.

Well done article exposing the realities of dealing with an EV as primary transport.

I only have one experience attempting to charge at a public station and it mirrors those in the article. I was driving a PHEV Jeep and went to a meeting at an office tower that had public charging station, so I figured I'd try it. After begrudgingly downloading the app, setting up my credit card in the app, and plugging in the Jeep, I just kept getting a "user not authorized" error on the machine. App seemed to be working, but wouldn't initiate the charge either....After another 5 minutes or so of screwing around with it I gave up. Good thing the Jeep was PHEV and I had plenty of gas  :D

It costs less to use gas than it does to use public charging for the Prius.

That's my problem....
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...
