Engagement isn’t this car’s only intangible that improves with three pedals.

This Supra definitely went from being off my radar to being fully on my list of potential additions in the spring of 2025.

I'll be interested to see how the sales split between the auto and manual in a couple of years.

Quote
That’s exactly what this manual car delivers, with the added bonus of somehow feeling lighter and more lively than the automatic version. It manages to slither through corners like it weighs the 1,275 kg (2,811 lb) of the GR86 instead of the 1,537 kg (3,389 lb) it actually does.

Placebo.

Quote
It puts the driver in complete control of the experience, with cause and effect playing out through corners in a way no automatic can match.

Doubt it.

Look at the used prices in the ad at the bottom.  :rofl2:

I wonder what the split will be also Quad.  I fear it'll be more like the Vette, where historically the number of auto's surpass the manual's.  When you are talking this price range, the buyer is likely a bit older and might be more okay with an auto.  That being said, having the option is always better than not.  I'd say this year they'll sell the most manuals they will during this generation and then it'll just be trickled in after that.
