So how does it drive?

I love that colour, though I'm generally not really a fan of the C8.

That's a cool birthday present idea for sure.  I have heard these C8's are very comfy to drive and wondering how it compares to your Audi's of the past.

Well that sure does beat getting another pair of ugly socks or sweater. Glad you had fun and didn't get caught stunting like the guy who rented the Lambo.

Very cool.  How many km's did you put on it that day?

None of my Audi's have been in the performance category of this car. The standard ride is quite comfortable and would be good for a long run. If you hit the Z button  it puts it in performance mode which is immediately noticeable by the exhaust note and gearing. It also brings up a menu with a myriad of options for changing the dynamics of the car. I doubt I will get into it, just hitting the Z button makes it go like stink.

Just came home for a bite, done about 150KM so far, heading out this afternoon for a tour with my wife...

Not sure I would choose it, but that colour and convertible is the best looking combo of a C8 I’ve seen in person.

Enjoy!  I’m sure it gets a pile of attention!

i normally get nothing (i don't really celebrate them)...aside from this year, where i got my Venza. ;D

I haven't warmed up to the looks yet, but I did get to drive one awhile back, I believe it was a convertible non-Z51. I found it very comfortable in 'normal' mode, it feels very much like driving a 'regular' sporty car; quiet, easy to handle, comfortable and predictable ride. Then, flipping it into sport mode (or w/e the performance mode is, there may be multiple) transforms it into the supercar that it is. It's an phenomenal piece of engineering, even if the styling isn't my taste.
