Yes, it's a lease (36 months) and a 2023 has been reserved for me before my current lease is up.
This oil consumption issue isn't bugging me at all, though it is ironic that I have an 11.5 year old Subaru that hasn't consumed a drop 😉. The dealership is across the street from CT, so it's even easier, I'm just teasing that the dealership will try to deflect as all dealerships tend to do. My biggest reason for doing it is to make sure Mazda gets notice of the number of vehicles affected... Doing it myself wouldn't get the message to Mazda corporate.
... By the way, this is the same dealership that has DEFLATED my tires set to the proper pressure when I take it in for service because they assume all Mazda 3s have the same recommended tire pressures when the turbo is 38psi up front (non-turbo is 36). They can't read a sticker on the door jamb? If not, can they really figure out how to top up oil?
