Ontario personalized license plate question
« on: August 14, 2019, 08:22:36 am »
We currently have 2 vehicles and i was thinking of ordering a personalized license plate for one of them.  On the Service Ontario website they state the fees for  "Convert a regular licence plate to a personalized licence plate is $310".
When i click on the order, the system does not ask which of the two plates i want to replace but the fees is $310.

So how does this work:
Does the plate ship to me and i remove the expiration sticker and stick it to the new plate and put it on the car or do they ship the plate with stickers? Does the $310 cost include sticker?
What do i do with the old plates?

Forget all that logical nonsense!  What will you be putting on the plate?   :D

LOL, I dont have much of a say in that, its actually the wifey who wants the plate. She has a couple of names in mind. kids names etc.
My role is just to research, order and install.

Oh, boo.   ;D

I would go to Service Ontario in person, or maybe call them first.  When I got new plates for the CX-3, I got a new sticker.  Maybe they credit you if you hand your plates back in?

So I'm waiting to exit the stupidly narrow street of my downtown parking garage, in traffic. Hear a whole lot of noise coming up the ramp of a condo tower's garage. Nuclear puke green 911 GT3 comes out, douche at the wheel with long hair and chrome glasses (looks like the stylist from the failed XOXO tv show). Licence plate: TARZZAN. Braps the engine for no reason. Probably has leopard-pattern designer underwear  ;D
