Final thoughts, for all you that don't care:

The Nokians are listed as a UHP A/S tire. Perhaps compared to a dedicated summer tire they are competent as an A/S tire but I'd say they're too far towards a dedicated summer tire.  Cold/wet/cold & wet performance was not great, but warm/dry was exceptional. Truly a fun Tire with no downsides assuming conditions are right.

Unfortunately, Canadian temperatures are not always summer tire friendly.

The Michelins are an exceptional A/S tire. I haven't found their limit yet and there's no issues in the wet. Ron it's right that these things are Eric in the wet.

In the dry, the Michelins dive very much like a regular all season. They don't really egg you on to drive harder, but they're stable, grippy forever, quiet, and comfortable (a bit firmer until they warm up).

If I move someone warm without winter, I'm going for the Nokians. In the GTA, Pilot Sport all the way.

As for my next car, the AWD Mazda 3 sounds awfully appealing to me. With the way road debris is consistently launched at my paint and windshield, my desire to own an expensive car has fallen sharply.
