Have not  followed this car in  a while. Had a 2007 with the 5spd auto. Didn't know they had switched to the CVT.

I love Honda but this is about the worst offering they have ever put out, just about everything is better.

We had a 2007 Fit with 5spd.  Now a 2013 Fit with a conventional slushbox.  No chance of a CVT one. If only Honda could put the magic seat into a CRX we might buy one.

Try to convince my wife that her 6 speed manual Fit isn't the best car in the world and you will fail.

I also happen to think that it's a pretty freaking incredible package of practical fun.

Yup it's all in the Magic Seat.  There are not that many hatchback cars that the rear seat folds completely flat.

I think they have that magic seat in the HRV ?

Yes they do. My parents are taking a close look at the HRV. It's all about step-in height now.

HRV doesn't have the overall interior space of the Fit though.

How's the 2013 holding up?  Any noticeable difference in the Japan vs China assembly since you've had both.
