Will be interesting to see how these sell at that price point. Can't believe that I was out the door on my 2014 Sahara for only $38,700!!! This new one is a 50% price increase in a matter of 5 years! WOW, my income hasn't gone up by 50% over the past 5yrs, that's for sure  :banghead:

^^^Yeah, Wranglers used to be the playthings of blue-collar workers and the lower-middle class.  Now it seems to be a status symbol for the rich.

Presumably your Sahara had a higher sticker price though? For a while, Wranglers were artificially cheap in Canada I think. We didn't seem to take as much of a currency conversion hit as on other cars.

As for sales, they seem to be doing fine. 240k sold in the U.S. last year, besting the previous peak of 203k in 2015. 21k sold in Canada but the peak here was 2014 with 23k sold.

Yeah, I saved around $8k on it if I remember correctly, so that would've been $47,700 out the door, so it's closer to a 35% price increase... and again, my income hasn't gone up 35% in the past 5yrs  :-\
