I'm saying that for people who don't really want a truck, the Ridgeline is the best. One of my good contracting buddies who still has a Ram 3500 for towing recently got a Ridgeline Black Edition because he got tired of hauling a big truck of air 80% of the time.

The Ram 1500 while a true capable truck and not as nimble as the Ridgeline can also be optioned to be car like with a crew cab, short box, nice interior, and now eTorque which is a game changer.

my goodness! it's funny, the ram doesn't get near this much love in a ram thread! haha!

I think this package for the titan is a good one. offers some things you can't get in the lower "blacked out" levels from the other guys. most of the other blacked out ones are based on the (close to) entry level trucks, with a few sporty add-ons like dual pipes, blacked out 20"ers, sport bumpers... but pretty basic interiors. this adds the screen, heated seats and such that you don't get in that level from most of the others. should put it in a good price point... more similar to sport/fx4 category in options, but closer to sxt/xlt in price.

So with the current discounts on the outgoing '18 Ram trucks, would would something comparable to this Titan Midnight Edition trim go for (ie. something with a few niceties, but cloth seats, etc.)??

this month is confusing as hell on the 18's... there are two programs available, bigger discounts and normal rates (4.79%), or "alternative financing" that gives a bit less discount, but better rates... then, most dealers also have a bunch of demo's on their lot, that are really "punched" cars (meaning marked as demo, but no kms). those ones have a lower price point *OR* can be opted for either of the other above options if they are better for the given situation.

clear as mud?

for fun... here is a "demo" 4x4 ecodiesel crew cab, blacked out outdoorsman, but a special one with leather, nav, heated seats/wheel, etc... 44995 selling price (so just plus hst). stellar deal. come get it while it lasts folks! heh... (actually kinda true... had three like it, and I sold two yesterday)

edit; forgot to point out, original list price, 66670 before all the discounts... so don't ask for an "autos.ca" special price!

Wow - $21k discount?  :o

Yeah, that's what the description had... that's a pretty good price on that thing as well... guessing that's about $21k less than list as well? Now if I only needed a pickup

Wow, yeah, that's a hell of a deal (and puts it lower than the $48k discounted test Titan too).

yeah, really is... I would think any Nissan store would drop a bit on the price listed for their truck to be fair, but these diesels are just stupid right now...
