RIP Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe

Sad day, but it was a long time coming. Not a sales failure, they didn't expect to sell many. Did it succeed in its mission to pave the way for Alfa's return to NA? Yet to be seen.

Love this thing, but honestly it needed two things to endear it to Alfisti: manual tansmission, and a V6 amidships. That would have made it just about perfect to me.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I agree.  Saw one in Phoenix, December 2016.  So much curvy goodness.

The no manual transmission on what it otherwise a total drivers car is what kills it for me.

When it came out, I though there was some misinformation, and the truth was that the car actually ONLY had a manual transmission.  it never occurred to me that a car of this design would have an automatic, even a rapid-fire twin-clutch design.  I haven't seen a car more suited to a three-pedal set up than this one, ever.

I saw the first one I've ever seen today in Guelph this afternoon.  Red of course.  Driving slowly in traffic.    I am not sure I could get in or out of one!

I have seen a couple in Victoria.

And I agree with the manual comment. Such a shame...
