a really cool car for sure, but not the one you want

LHD and turbo, that is what you want - so the Opel Speedster 2.0T
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Couldn't one just buy one of those Saturn coupe things and get the same kind of experience and have the steering wheel on the proper side??
Lighten up Francis.....

Pretty cool it gives you litres remaining rather than an analogue gas gauge. I'd prefer that.

This is a totally different beast that the Saturn/Opel/Pontiac/Daewoo siblings (yes, it was sold in S. Korea as a Daewoo).  This shares its platform with the Lotus Elise 2.

See my cooment above - the VX220 and its Opel Speedster version (which has the steering wheel on the “proper” side, btw) are totally different cars than the Sky and Solstce and their Opel and Daewoo versions (which were both re-badged Skys - all four versions were built in the same US factory).

The VX220 and the Opel Speedster are very close to the Lotus Elise in concept and share the same platform.

Aren't the Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice front-engine RWD? This one is a mid-engined.
