That was an absolutely beautiful tribute.  No doubt your Dad would be pleased and proud.

That was an absolutely beautifully written tribute. Your father lived a full and rich life and I'm sure he was very proud of his little girl......ahem...stupid dust in the office...
Lighten up Francis.....

Excellent write-up and a great tribute!!

I worked in both those same assembly plants, at the old AMC plant I was on tires & wheels for a bit, in the paint shop sanding bodies before paint for a while and then front end alignment & headlight aim. Then at the Bramalea plant I was on that same door line 90% of the time and occasionally on the engine installation line.

That was an absolutely beautiful tribute.

A very touching piece!  There's a lot to be said about, as you put it, honest work.

Sure he will.  Perhaps not directly, but he's built a beautiful legacy that includes you, and of course, Maddie.  Thank you for sharing this with us!

A beautiful tribute; easily the best thing I have read on all of the sites that have been associated with this forum.

Well done, Stephanie.  I also lost my dad suddenly almost 10 years ago.  He was my idol, and like yours, taught me the value of hard work and ethics.  He was also a blue collar guy.
