We rented an Explorer the last time we were down at CTC South - $315 for the week taxes in at Dollar. Very spacious cabin especially so with the 3rd row down. Mrs. Railton quite liked it.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

I'm not sure this ever will become so widespread - I'd love to see stats as to how many folks actually use this beyond the free period (i.e. which idiots pay $25+/month for 1GB of data on top of their normal cellphone bills )

The Tahoe was larger in comparison, and that was the smaller Tahoe as well! If you had to lug around hockey gear all the time then I would go the Tahoe route. To me, the Explorer drove better than the Tahoe, was easier to park and drove more car like than the Tahoe. I was not a fan of the Tahoe's automatic emergency braking feature in stop and go driving. I think both though are really good looking SUV's. I also like the new Mazda CX9 and Volvo 90.
Mrs. Railton needs to make a decision soon on what to do with the FX.

The Explorer we rented was horrid. No Ecoboost so the 3.7 was a gutless pile. The interior was horrid, the ride was bad....no bueno.

Yup, with a $24.5K buy back. Thinking about buying it. It's been trouble free like the other Infiniti.

I had no issues with multiple high school hockey players and gear in my explorer.

To me these are the best looking of the 3 row crossovers, I prefer the look of this over the Pilot & Pathfinder... but like Jacob Stephanie summed up, not sure I'd be happy with the extra costs of getting the power I'd want  :-\
