Man, these articles are thorough and make even the most reliable cars seem like no-gos.  Not your fault, Pritch, but pretty much any car is bound to have SOME issue after being driven for a few years.

I'm still not brave enough to buy a used tuner car.

^scour the internet & you'll find forums of people b*tching about their problems with a car... just have to decipher thru the crap to see what's really a HUGE issue, or a minor gripe. I know these cars seem to be pretty stout & put up with quite a bit of abuse at the track from what I've seen... so they can't be all that bad. And let's face it, with all the electronics & computers on modern cars, software problems are gonna happen!! Not saying its necessarily acceptable, but it's become the norm... like once upon a time you had to adjust the timing on your car in the spring/summer and then again in the fall  :rofl2:
