Give me one of those classic Hondas any day of the week over the contrived mess that's the new Civic.  Golly those are beautiful little cars.  :)

I like the new Honda Civic sedan. I think that with the coupe and hatch, Honda has gone over the top with the design of the front and rear bumpers, with those huge air intakes. Not very refined.

That 1.5T is a really good engine though, and this car is fun to drive.

A co-worker has one with a manual.

These are very nice cars.  The refinement is there.  The interior is very well thought out with respect to how people actually use their cars (phone storage, cable routing, hatch cover, etc).  The engine seems to have enough grunt and the packaging and pricing is dead on.

The stereo is a mess though.

I would only buy it in black to hide all the plastic.   I hope there will be a mid-generation revision that will tidy up the styling a little.

There also seems to be a number of issues popping up.  Though that could be just a result of the sheer number they sell (and dedicated fan-base)

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Same thing with the new Ridgeline.  Lots of quality issues showing up.  Honda quality isn't what it used to be.  Having said that, I'd buy a Ridgeline over a GM twin or Tacoma.

While I don't hate the styling, it's just too busy inside and out. A bit of a shame because it sounds like a very nice package. I'm still half-tempted to look into the Si model.

Agreed with all of that.

The new car looks like a Stormtrooper helmet after a couple of Ewoks have bashed it with rocks.

I like the car.  I don't even mind the styling, except for the ugly big black plastic inserts, but I figure they could be painted body color and not be quite so in your face.

Accurate description is accurate.
Had one of these exact white things go past me this morning.  As I sat there watching it go by, mouth hanging partly open, all I could say was "the fuk??"

I love that classic blue one. Fantastic simplistic and functional interiors.

Beauty in every detail, made 13" tires look good on steelies.

Following gen (the one I bough new) was also quite a looker:

The new one should have looked as good as this, at least:
