Good update Jon.  Hope everyone's okay.  :(

How did you find the power with a full load of family and luggage?  How was the fuel economy?Any wonkyness from the transmission?
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

sorry, cant get interested at all
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

There are all kinds of vehicles that don't interest me.  You know how you can tell?  I don't take the time to post in their threads.  Mostly because I don't assume my expression of disinterest (and nothing more) would be of any value to those who are participating in the thread - and are therefore interested in the vehicle.

Great little family vehicle!  Seems to maximize space for it's size.  The big drawback for me would be the mediocre fuel consumption for such a small vehicle.  My much larger Passat tsi has averaged 7.3 l/100km over nearly 38,000 kms, assuming the trip computer is accurate.   I've actually achieved as low as 5.6 on secondary roads while not exceeding 100 km/hr over 50 km+ trips.   And, yes, I know the Tuscon has AWD, but that raises fuel consumption only slightly over the FWD model.

For the first time I was more interested in the trip & destination rather than the car itself.  My family is planning to drive to Chicago early July.  We'll be staying at the Langham hotel in downtown, for free. Perks of my wife's work.
I would've liked to read more of the trip, too bad your plan got altered due to an accident.

I hope everyone is okay.
