On second thought, the neanderthal colleagues would probably also appreciate a Camaro.   Pity Vman would have to buy the automatic though as he can't be working a messy clutch pedal in his dress shoes.

The most important aspect of the GS F IMO is that naturally aspirated V8.   Such a rare bird in a sport/luxury sedan nowadays.   And certainly a car you'd feel comfortable keeping for the long haul, as opposed to a triple turbo charged, partial hybrid, 3 cylinder FGC.   It's really a shame there aren't more "classic" sedans like this on offer.
Genesis R-Spec??...maybe not as much in the "sport" side and more for the "touring side", but still, it's a V8.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

Wait, he's going to drive a truck with dress shoes on? Won't his colleagues make fun of him for that :stick:  ;D?

Yep, that's a good example.   Something like this: http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Hyundai/Genesis/Newmarket/Ontario/5_26831376_20150529105935682/?showcpo=ShowCPO&orup=1_15_3

could suit Jaeger well....

Wow, people keep gushing over the V-sport and you can find them on dealer lots for pennies on the dollar

I know over here, the pricing is out of whack somewhat.  In the US, it's priced more competitively IMO.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Buying the truck specifically because I DON'T want to impress anyone.

Buying the truck to try and fit it is even worse IMO...

And Vman can't do jaunts to the office anymore.  He needs to buy some truck nuts to impress the workers.  :P

:rofl2:  But Vman will get the last laugh when he rolls up in his Sierra Denali with 6.2L V8 and 8-speed auto...
Hey, we're extolling the virtues of a great naturally-aspirated V8, right?

You're not wrong here (except for the part where Vman mans up and buys what he really wants...).  In some respects the Sierra Denali is a relatively economical way to get a family hauler with a Corvette engine.   More expensive than a Maro SS yes, but much better for hauling kids and impressing your neanderthal colleagues.   :rofl2:

Do it Vman...Do it.

The engine between the Sierra Denali and the Camaro has quite a few differences...  Suffice it to say the one in the truck is fitted for hauling / truck duties.

Perhaps, but at 420HP / 460TQ I'm pretty sure what it hauls best is A$$!

Subjective results don't win comparisons.  The GS-F was 2nd place while the Audi S6 was 3rd in the Motor Trend online magazine.
