Nice shape, but the front end is old Chrysler 200 hideous.

At most it would share some of the silhouette of the concept car. That thing came out in 1999 after all.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

That's a 16 year old concept right?  Hard to judge just how much it would actually resemble it.

Honestly I'm mildly intrigued.  The idea of a V8/RWD 4 door "coupeish" thing at an attainable price (i.e. not a CLS550) has some appeal to this father of 2.

But I'm sure Dodge will fack it up.

I loved that concept when it came out.  We'll see what they actually do when they do it.  Or did, if someone posts smuggled out photos from the show.  If.  Won't the problem will lie in the fact they might be using an outdated Merc platform now...but ditching it and switching to something Fiat makes.  From the "Euro's" I know...Fiat = hahahahaha...no thanks.

yeah, to think the car will actually look like the 1999 concept is pretty nuts... just have a similar overall shape. and hey, in 1999, that concept was pretty sweet looking... not exactly a great era of daily driver cars at least looks wise...

interesting all of the ideas for sure... not sure how many are actually good financial choices though...

The next-generation Charger is said to look very much like the swoopy concept sketch done by Tom Gale in 1999.

...is akin to "my brother's friend's cousin's roommate said it looked just like the concept from 1999."

Interesting, at least its somewhat different looking...front end is totally reminding me of a Chev Camaro, circa 1996
I love it when a plan comes together.

I wouldn't bet on that! Given what they've done to the Cherokee!

Styling is the one thing FCA is getting right pretty well across the board.

The Cherokee is the most controversial, but even there, people are pretty much split down the middle, which is fine. They've sold a pile of them.

Has there been any updates on if this is in fact going to be the new Charger?

reminds me of a 10-15 year old Corvette (but in a four door version).
