Another answer for a question nobody asked.

Maybe it's targeted at the Chinese market, where BMW is selling lots of X6's.

And Russia. But they'll probably sell a decent amount here, too.

My neighbor has a BMW X6. Looks pretty nice in person. Not sure why so many complains.

I think they look fine too. I don't think people actually have a problem with the styling elements themselves, it's the fact that it's an unusual and "impractical" body style.

Not a big fan of the X6, but the new model is a huge improvement over the last generation. They've managed to make it look a lot more compact and sleek. The interior is light years better than the GLE, too.
