Massive recall of Hyundai Sonata

...engine issues in 470,000 cars in US. 2011-2012 models are concerned.

Both the 2 litre and the 2.4 are concerned, the trouble being excess metal on crankshafts, which may cause sudden complete failure of the engine. Repairs involve replacing the entire engine.

It's all part of Hyundai's unbeatable value for the dollar. Standard LED strips and glitz on all models! just take the extra $$ out of quality control.
