Whats with slapping fake plastic chrome over everything and calling it style. It's just fugly. These cars are getting really ugly in 20 teens.



Not bad from the back though. But overly done with the lights.

I was one of the unfortunate suckers who watched the reveal. Between muting all the Night Riot music and finding for information about the Civic Line, it was a big disappointment.
No information on the engine options offered. No information on engine HP/TQ ratings. No info on release dates for Si or Type R.
The only thing they had was the Sedan in the reveal (the same color that was spied on being shown in this post). No sign of the Coupe or the hatchback. Very disappointing reveal.

I tuned in briefly.  Very briefly.  They had a crowd of onlookers standing within a foot of the car.  You could barely get a look at it.  Bit of a fail, that.  Full LED lighting is cool.

Damned if I'm not seeing a lot of Elantra in this car now, though.

As with C/D, it's clear the major car mags have had the new Civics on their turf but probably have a news embargo before more is told.

I'm working on a detailed post about it. I wasn't a huge fan of that reveal. Man... ugh. What a let down. MORE CAR, LESS SILLY CULTURE, PLEASE.

looks like a nissan/infiniti design to me... nothing wrong with it... just... whatever. looks like it's getting bigger too. is that the case? I haven't read up on any of the releases.

Hmmm.  Just read that you won't be able to get the manual with uplevel trip or with the uplevel turbo motor.  Fack that.

Looks like the usual trend of a great small car getting bigger, with more power and more upgrades.  So basically we have a slightly smaller Accord.  Nothing wrong with that but it would be nice if compacts did indeed stay compact rather than expand into a brand marketing opportunity.

Ditto Corolla which is has to ba about the same size as a Camry of 12 years ago.
