Vans in mid $30k's is much more reasonable for comfortable, efficient motoring. Another concern: I wish they would make the regular length minivans still, but they all make the "Grand" style now. If they could just shorten them by 10 inches, and offer us both types. Those who want a Grand Caravan/Odyssey/Sienna, can get it, and those who don't could get the regular one. Were the shorter versions of minivans such poor sellers that they've been discontinued?

Some of them sort of do. old Caravan became Journey Crossover for example.

Picking up a few year old Ody Touring would be an excellent proposition IMHO.

I blame the Americans.  SUV's took over.  Vans less popular.  The bigger vans sold more.  The smaller vans like the Caravan, Mazda5, and Rondo, not so much.

Unless I get a bigger camper within the next 3-4 years (which I doubt), another van (Toyota or Honda) it will be (95% sure).  Odyssey has 212k on it now.

I've always been tempted by the AWD Sienna.  They got the same full time AWD system as the Highlander and can carry a lot of stuff and people.

The only thing that catches my eye on the Sienna is the lounge seating on the touring trim! :-)
