I get the comparison's to Audi A5, BMW 4 Series, Infiniti Q60, Lexus RC, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe in specs and think that the Cadillac would be a great leased car or an excellent CPO purchase.

I can't see the ATS maintaining the resale value of the mentioned competitors yet. Cadillac seemed stalemated for too many decades but it seems that Cadillac is headed in the right direction. Kudos to whomever is at the helm of the change.

The car reviewed is quite unique with the 2016 engine not yet in production (335 HP / 285 ft-lb) but with the current 6 speed auto that will not be available with the new V6...  ;D

I'm curious about the steering - always a highlight with the ATS.  Is it indeed changed?  Sedan and Coupe head-to-head?

If aliens came down to Earth, gathered all the cars in this segment together and had to organize them from newest to oldest based design, they'd put the ATS at or near the back of the pack.

It's sad but the ancient A5 looks more elegant by far. Even Infiniti's old coupe...35...or 50...or 60...ah, you know the one.

That's not to say the ATS is ugly, it isn't.

At the end of the day I think Cadillac has to sell the ATS on features, driving dynamics and price. It can't quite compete on style, prestige and luxury.

I agree that they have gotten way better with the current models.

I think you've been hitting the bottle.

How's that any different than usual?

Well some people like curves more than others. ;)

I find the CTS's design much more appealing to me, like the vertical DRL extending down to the lower bumper does it for me.

If it was my money, it would go to a new S5.

No mention of the rear axle ratio  ??? ??? ??? or is it there somewhere.  :)

The price of this unit is absolutely preposterous.  It's still remains .... DOA.

Saw two of these today.  Both 2.0Ts and Ont plated.  I think it's a great looking car.
