Pritchard, PhD, would be better to chime in on this, but you don't have to weigh 225lbs in order to exert 225lbs of pressure.

...as you say in the article, "stomping" on the pedal is sufficient to exert far more than the foot itself weighs.

Transport Canada typically only takes action after the NHTSA takes the initiative, and then sometimes does nothing.

Why don't we close down Transport Canada and have dealers follow U.S. directives?

Then we can focus on Health Canada, another useless drain on the taxpayer.
