After the US road trip I could see why they are so excited about a 6500 car. There's only so long you can drive some of those wrecks. It was like stepping back in time

Many states don't require safety checks when transferring ownership.  So you sure do see some POS cars!

BC doesn't have formal safety checks for used vehicles either. They rely on cops to issue VI orders.

Alberta has required safety inspections only if you're buying a 10yr or older car - and that's by your insurance company.  Keep a car from  age 9 to 90, and you're okay.  But we don't have many old cars on the road here as we're the "have and have not" province - you're either making enough for a new car or you're struggling on transit.

If you have to wear a helmet on the street:

 ;D

I've seen so many of these little three wheelers come and go, most not even making it to market, I wouldn't hold my breath for this thing either. The price seems really ambitious.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

The US situation seemed to be just a lack of money. Stuff isn't really in bad shape, it's just old. There's only so far a 90's Ranger or jellybean Taurus will take you.

I wish them well. They seem to be giving it a good try.
