yeah I'm really not impressed with wasting our time with drawings/CGI of 'what our cars could look like, though they will never look like this because it compromises on space, visibility, and packaging requirements - but it is possible you'll see an utter hint of this in a bland model we'll release eventually (in a few years).'
Subaru is notoriously bad for doing that with the WRX line-up, and all the bloody talk and 3 years' anticipation just made we, the people who give a sh!t or two, angrier when the disappointingly bland model with barely any performance increases was finally released. What's that? The WRX still isn't yet on dealer's lots? Gah!!!!
The media can have their fun with press releases and keeping shareholders happy, but photos like these don't translate into sales...at all.
