I want my DD to be the best vehicle that I own because I will spend the most time in it. I don't get the point of leaving your good car at home and choosing something else to commute in.

I could see myself buying an S2K for weekend fun but I wouldn't buy a new sports car and not drive it everyday...cars are for driving.

In Manitoba sure....in Toronto "commuting" is defined by 20km/h average. Sometimes less.
Then why would you want to sit in crap box at 20 km/ hr, a lot easier to sit in a nice car at 20 km/hr

I would not say that a well cared for IS300 is a crap box. Just IMHO though.

A ES300h would be great but does nothing for me :P
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

^^The IS300 is fun to drive and truth be told, the character of the inline-6 has more personality than the V6 in the IS350.  It also feels smaller and more "tossable". Just my opinion though...having owned both vehicles.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...
