The 500E/E500 is rare. If someone wants the "bargain" version, find a similar vintage E420. It was almost as quick as the 500, so MB hobbled it with a very tall final drive. A popular mod is to swap the rear ratio, producing a very quick car at a very low price.
The 993 Porsches are, to me, the most desirable 911s, but the prices for the age are ridiculous. But, understandable, as desirable cars cost.
I still love the NSX. Always will. Another car that can cost a lot for a nice example.
The 1988 BMW M5 is awesome. Such a shocker back in the day. So much performance in such an unassuming package. If I owned one, I'd probably never sell it.
