The some of the cars with the highest depreciation rates are German. The S-class, BMW 7 series and especially the A8 have absolutely dismal resale.


You might as well add Lexus LS460 to that too. A fully loaded '08 LS460 with under 100k can be had to $30k.
All flagship models of ALL manufacturers have dismal resale values for apparent reasons - rich people don't buy 'used', 'poor' people can't afford to keep them on the road. Nothing to do with quality

Don't forget the Jaguar XJ. It's pretty good at depreciating at an extremely rapid rate as well.

When it comes to deprecation the class of vehicle is often much more relevant than its country of origin. Large expensive luxury sedans lose value quickly, period.

Yup.  I'm definitely gonna buy a used lexus barge sometime!!.   ;D

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D
