They may be Korean automakers, but Hyundai and Kia are in tune with the North American market, partly because of an engineering centre in Michigan. Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh visits the facility that even examines what size coffee cups we buy.

  Thanks Jill for a fascinating look into this complex. Its little wonder that such amazing progress has been made by this company over the years.

  I drove a new Sonata recently, truly a big steep up from this Excel I saw recently
