I'm calling BS on the maker of that movie.  It's got to be staged.  No one reads a Kindle, and a book and talks on a cellphone at the same time unless they're doing it for an audience.  Go ahead and say the guy is in some kind of brain warp, but surely he would've at least noticed the car with the camera keeping station right beside him and at least glanced over even if it was a flick of his eyes to his periphery.
