All I know the X5 has some of the best seats and seating poisition out there, and that is why a lot of people have bought this over the wagon.
If the majoriy of people want a wagon they would still be selling it
...also, to state again, the X5 was cheaper than the 5-series touring. That, plus there are still many people who believe they are getting more value if what they buy for the same dollar is bigger than something else, regardless of quality/performance.
Definitely agree that they never sold many 5 wagons (and they sold A LOT of X5's), so the move makes sense. Just disappointing for people who would prefer the wagon choice. Drives pretty much exactly the same as a 535 sedan and the cargo space is really about equal to the X5.
Too bad.
