Used as a form of mobile advertising, the specially-built Labatt Streamliners had "a beautifully curvaceous shape" and won the Best Design award at the 1939 New York World's Fair. One still exists, an authentically restored 1947 Streamliner.

That's awesome! Very glad Labatt decided keep it around.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I recall as a kid in the early/late fifties, my dad driving along the highways of Canada, and when we'd spot a brewery truck , (Labatt's or otherwise), he'd mention that the drivers were supposed to stop and assist motorists in distress...It was a company policy...We had a '49  Chevy torpedo back which we'd all go to the drive-in movie in...myself and my two brothers...As I recall it had a big shelf in the back that you could sleep on...The one radio program I recall is "The Shadow".

One of the Smith family tells me that (as of 2009) the restored Labatt's truck is MIA. Anyone know where it is?
