Armstead Snow Motors Auger drive snow machines
« on: March 21, 2010, 12:33:27 pm »
Way back when, we had a thread where we talked a bit about auger drive snow machines. 2004!

I just came across a promotional film clip from 1924 that demonstrates the capabilities of conversions done to a Fordson tractor and a Chevrolet sedan. I found it pretty cool.

I bet they are not too good on dry pavement.

Looks as if the cabin is a bit uncomfortable for long trips as well, lack of cupholders for a start.
