Topic: New Bike: 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R

I just picked up my new bike the other day, its a Kawasaki Ninja 250R. This is only my second bike so I didn't want anything too big. I really do enjoy riding this bike, it is not the fastest bike out there obviously but it will be a good bike to have for a few years. First mod was to remove the ugly stock rear fender.





This was my first bike, I owned it up until last week when I was living in the Cayman Islands for 8 months. It was a ok bike, mechanically it was solid but the electrics and other parts were pretty crappy. Get what you pay for especially with Chinese. Good bike to learn on though.

If I ever get the chance to own a 'stable' of bikes I think the littlest Ninja will be one of them. Has to be great fun to wring it out at everyday speeds.

Fantastic bike!  Great, sensible choice.  Lots of riders end up getting too big of a bike because they think there is some stigma of "only" having a 250.  I think this is one of the reasons Kawasaki didn't put a "250" decal anywhere on the bike.  You'd be hard pressed to tell this bike apart from its bigger siblings from a distance.

I've always loved lightweight bikes.  Awesome machine you have there.  Congrats.
