Gee I always wondered just how to run my floor jack or stands without any Hydro. Just do it manually like always I suspect.  :) ;D

Laptop, Sansa MP3 player, my HD home theater and satellite system and in the summer our central air. The house is well sealed with the new windows and doors and the attic is double-insulated so we didn't suffer too much when we had a long power outage in early December. It was about 20 degrees C in the house when the power went down and it only dropped to about 16 when it came back on 7 hours later which isn't too bad. I don't have a wood stove because air quality is a huge problem here in the winter with the semi-permanent inversions that settle over the Okanagan Valley and I don't want to make it worse than it already is.   :)
