... residents of the Midwest have been receiving postcards with what appear to be genuine safety recall notices. It turns out there were no safety recalls, and the toll-free number on the card is for a Missouri company offering extended vehicle warranties. The Better Business Bureau said the company is not affiliated with automakers or dealerships and has a pattern of unresolved complaints.
