Spot the difference....

Car lot near me.

 :)

FWIW we don't get the R32 in Canada although it "should" be importable now our bumper standards have changed.

Later:   It is importable from the USA  but not offered by VW Canada

Are there 5-door R32s?
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

The bumper regs just changed...  has VW Canada made any announcement about whether the R32 will be offered in Canada in the future?

Nothing from VW but I've heard that some VW dealers are shopping the US auctions.

You don't want to buy a US car...well...not unless it's from a Canadian dealer.   ::)

IIRC there will be no R32 for MY2009... The last one was only available in '04. So here we have 04 08 2012? Maybe :)

I also think the europand does get 5 door r32s...

Find differences interesting, such as the amber vs red indicators... why VW goes to more trouble than just changing the bulb but rather changing the entire location I'm not sure - maybe there is NAmerican legislation for signal to be visible from the side as well as rear?

Also like how the Euro Golfs save for the GTI and R32 pictured don't have their exhausts visible. That's what our Golf/Jetta's IV's were like except for the later '03+ (I think) 1.8T's. Today's Rabbit/Jetta V have dual exhausts like the GTI's, sometimes can see some soot on the bumper of light colour Jetta TDIs. On the TDI's think it's a better idea to have the exhaust facing down to the pavement and not visible - unless the exhaust tips are chromed I'd rather the cleaner appearance.
