I just saw an advert for a Toyota Yaris, indicating its new starting price for 2008 (under $14,000).  In addition to that, the ad pointed out that the car was eligible for a $1,000 rebate from the federal government by way of something called the "Eco Auto" program.

Wasn't that the program started and then stopped by the Harper government last year?

Is this a new version of the same program?
