Awesome - I've loved the Mazda2 since I first saw photos of it posted here, and the Ford Fiesta announcement gives me hope that the 2 will be coming as well.  I'd especially like to see a MazdaSpeed version of the 2...

I love diesel cars, but it doesn't make sense to hae a small, sub-compact offered with a diesel in NA. The benefits wouldn;t really add up, and it'll prbably cost you mor to own it.

Unless gas goes up to $2 only larger cars benefit ecn with a diesel option...

a 1.3 4cyl Mazda in diesel might not sell well here...

the 6 Wagon, on the other hand....
